  • We use sophisticated encryption technology to prevent unauthorized access to your information online and in the Discover mobile app.
  • We proactively monitor your accounts for potential fraud and will reach out if we see anything suspicious.
  • Discover Bank is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), which means your deposits are FDIC-insured up to the maximum allowed by law.
  • We offer tools you can enroll in, such as account alerts, to help you boost your account's security.

Yes. You will earn 1% cashback on up to $3,000 in debit card purchases each month with your Discover Cashback Debit card*, including when you use your Digital Wallet. If your digital wallet purchases are made using Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay you will earn rewards just like you would with your physical card.

Zelle® is a fast, safe and easy way to send and receive money with friends, family and others you trust, even if they bank somewhere different than you.1 All you need is your recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile number and money will be sent directly from your account to theirs in minutes1. No account numbers are shared.

To use Zelle® with Discover, an Account Center registered Discover checking, savings, or money market account that has been open for at least 90 days is required.
