  • Is Return Guarantee still available to Discover cardmembers?

    Discover's Return Guarantee benefit was discontinued effective February 28, 2018. Purchases made prior to February 28, 2018 will be eligible for coverage under the original terms of the benefit.

  • What is Return Guarantee?

    As an exclusive feature of your Discover card, we will refund the purchase price up to $500 on eligible items if the original store will not accept your return within 90 days of purchase.

  • Do I have to pay a fee for Return Guarantee?

    No. However, the entire cost of the eligible purchase much be charged to your Discover Card (and/or accrued rewards) for coverage to apply.
  • Are computer component items eligible for coverage under Return Guarantee?

    As of August 1, 2016, the Return Guarantee Terms and Conditions have been updated. Any purchases made after August 1, 2016 will be subject to the new terms, which contain an Exclusion and Limitation for computer components including but not limited to computer software, DVDs, CDs, video cassettes, audio cassettes, printed materials, or any other informational and recreational media. Items purchases prior to August 1, 2016 are subject to the previous terms which included computer component items.
