Learn how to manage your account when you enroll in Discover.com.

How can I find out the status of my Discover Card application?

Click the link to find out the status of your application or call us at 1-800-DISCOVER (1-800-347-2683). Please note that it may take up to 30 days to process an application.

How can I view my account information, including my full account number?

You can view your account information via the Account Center. Click to log in or register. However, we do not show your full Discover Card account number online for security reasons. If you have an active account, you can find your full account number on the front of your card. If your account is closed, please contact us at 1-800-DISCOVER.

How can I contact Discover?

To share a compliment, complaint, or other suggestion, please log in to send us a secure message.

What services or features are available to me when I register for the Account Center?

The Account Center gives you the convenience of managing your finances anytime, anywhere you have Internet access. Once logged in you will be able to view your current account summary, view statements for the past 24 months (7 years if enrolled in Paperless Statements), add multiple bank accounts to pay your bill from, shop via our online shopping tool ShopDiscover, update your email address, phone number or home address, request a new card design and much more.

Is the Account Center secure?

Yes, at Discover Card, we have made security a top priority. For Internet security, we use SSL, the highest encryption standard to protect your online Account information. SSL protects your information making it virtually impossible for someone else to access it.

Are there times when the Account Center is unavailable?

Yes, we perform scheduled maintenance on the Account Center every Sunday from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. Eastern Time. During this time, you may have limited access.

Can I increase my credit limit online?

You must log in to request a credit limit increase.

Can I decrease my credit limit online?

You must log in to request a credit limit decrease.

How do I sign up to receive text message reminders?

You may select which text message reminders that you would like to receive from the Account Profile page within your account. Click the link to log in and choose the text reminders you want to receive. You will receive a text notification to confirm your enrollment. You must reply to the confirmation notification to complete your enrollment.

What text message reminders will Discover send to me?

You can elect to enroll in a number of text message reminders that can be sent to your cell phone or mobile device. You will only be sent the reminders that you select when the specific activity has occurred. A few choices include:

  • Statement Available
  • Payment Posted
  • Payment Due

Log in to view all text message reminder choices.

How can I stop receiving text message reminders?

Simply reply STOP from the text message reminder that you received. You may also update your preferences from the Account Profile page within the Account Center.

How do I sign up to receive email reminders?

You may select which email reminders that you would like to receive from the Account Profile page within your account. Click the link to log in and choose the email reminders you want to receive.

How do I access my Sam's Club Discover Card account?

You can pay you Sam's Club Discover Card via the Sam's Club website. You can also also contact Sam's Club customer service at 1-866-220-0254.
