Secure Socket Layer Certification (SSL)

We use 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL), the industry standard for secure Internet communication. This technology encodes the information sent over the internet and makes it virtually impossible for someone else to access it.

SSL Certificate

  • First, look for https in the page URL. The "s" signifies that the page is secure.
  • Most browsers have a "lock" icon. If the lock is closed/locked, the page is secure.
  • Most browsers shade the lock/text/background green. Green means secure.
  • Many browsers show the actual server security certificate "DFS Services LLC [US]"
To take advantage of SSL, we recommend you use an SSL-compatible browser.

“Phishing emails” are sent with the purpose of fraudulently obtaining your personal identification and account information or luring you into downloading malicious software.

The sophistication of these scams increases all the time. Here are some common themes to phishing emails so that you can better identify them and protect yourself:

Any email with an urgent request for personal or financial information.

Any email with scary, false statements designed to get you to provide information immediately. They typically request usernames, passwords, date of birth, Social Security number, credit card numbers or other personal information.

Identify masking links within a communication by holding your mouse over a link to reveal the actual URL you’ll be directed to. If that URL does not appear to match the link representing it, never click on it, as this could initiate virus installations.
