Emmett J. Doerr Memorial Scout Scholarship $2,000 March 1

Eligibility: Applicants must be a practicing Catholic and a full-time high school Senior. Applicants must be holding a leadership role in their scouting unit and be actively involved with a Scout Troop, Varsity Scout Team, Venturing Crew or Sea Scout Ship. Applicants must have provided service to their home parish and earned the Ad Altare Dei or Pope Pius XII Religious Award. Applicants must have earned the Eagle Scout, Silver Award or Quartermaster Award. Applicants must currently hold a leadership role in a community or school organization other than scouting.

Vocations Scholarship Funds $2,500 June 1

Eligibility: Applicants must be males studying with ecclesiastical approval at a major seminary for a diocese or religious institute in the United States, its territories and Canada. The Father Michael J. McGivney Vocations Scholarship Fund awards scholarships based on financial need, and applicants must provide proof of need. The Bishop Thomas V. Daily Scholarships Fund awards recipients on the basis of merit, and applicants must submit their most recent transcript and two letters of recommendation. Both funds give preference to Knights of Columbus members and their sons, but membership is not required.
