Which phones are able to support the mobile app?

If you have an iPhone or Android-based phone with a compatible operating system, you can use the mobile app. 

Note: If your device has a mobile browser, you can also access your account at m.discover.com.

 

How do I download the Discover Mobile App to my Android-based smartphone or tablet?

Visit Google Play online or on your phone and follow the steps listed below:
1. Select the "Search" link
2. Search for "Discover"
3. Select "Install" and the app will download to your device

 

How do I download the Discover Mobile App to my iPhone?

Visit the Apple App Store online or on your iPhone and follow the directions below:
1. Select the "Search" tab
2. Search for "Discover Card"
3. Tap "Discover Mobile"
4. Tap "Free"
5. Once the "Free" changes to "Install", tap "Install" and enter your Apple ID password and push "OK"

 

How do I download the Discover Mobile App to my iPad?

Visit the Apple App Store online or on your iPad and follow the directions below:
1. Select the "Search" tab
2. Search for "Discover Card"
3. Tap "Discover Mobile"
4. Tap "Free"
5. Once the "Free" changes to "Install", tap "Install" and enter your Apple ID password and push "OK"

Note: You may need to authenticate with your Apple credentials to initiate the installation.

 

Does Discover support the app on a Blackberry device or Windows phone?

No. We do not offer our Discover Mobile app in the Blackberry App World or Windows phone; however, you can still use our mobile site via your device's browser at m.discover.com.

 

How do I access my account with the Discover App?

Once the app has downloaded to your phone, sign in under the "Secure Credit Card Log In" tab using your online Account Center user ID and password.

What does the mobile application offer?

On the Discover Mobile App, you can:

- Register your account
- Log in quickly with a 4-digit Passcode or for users with the touch ID, simply with your fingerprint
- View Account Summary
- Check your balance and available credit
- View pending and posted transactions
- Make payments, edit and cancel pending payments
- View payment history
- View and download your statement
- View your free FICO® Credit Score
- Report a card as lost, stolen, or misplaced
- Enrol in Cashback Bonus and Miles promotions
- Get offers for being a cardmember with Discover Deals, the one-stop-shop where you can access instant savings at checkout, additional rewards, or statement credits for purchases with popular brands (for eligible Cardmembers)
- Redeem rewards for Partner gift cards, instant eCertificates, statement credits, or direct deposit to your personal bank account
- Refer friends to Discover and earn extra rewards
- View rewards redemption history
- Reset forgotten user ID/password
- Sign up to receive push alerts about your account
- In Secure Message Center, conveniently and securely ask questions about your account or give us feedback
- Access your Discover Bank Account (if applicable)

If I have quick view settings enabled on my device and it gets lost or stolen, how can I disable quick view?

In the event that your device is lost or stolen, please call Web Support at 1-877-742-7822 to disable your quick view settings.

 

What if I lose my device that has Passcode enabled?

To protect your account security, we advise that you call 1-877-742-7822 to disable Passcode on all your devices. This will prevent others from attempting to log in to your account with your Passcode.

 

What happens if I forget my Passcode?

On the Passcode login screen, you can select "Forgot Passcode." You will then be prompted to log in with your user ID and password and create a new Passcode.

 

If I have Passcode enabled, can I still log in with my user ID and password?

Yes, you can log in with your user ID and password at any time by clicking on "User ID Login" from the login page.

 

What happens if I'm trying to log in with my Passcode and enter it incorrectly too many times?

For security purposes, you will be locked out of the application after 3 failed attempts. You can call 1-877-742-7822 to talk to a customer service representative about unlocking your account.

 

I don't have a smartphone. Can I still use Discover.com from my mobile device?

Yes, you can still view the Discover website from your phone's browser if your mobile device has internet access. By accessing Discover.com from your mobile device, you can view your account summary, view account activity, view payment history, make payments, view rewards details, and enroll in rewards programs.
