The last card used or viewed is the card defaulted for payment. By scrolling left and right through your payment cards in Samsung Pay, you can select the card you want to use for payment.
Simple Pay is a quick and easy way to access your Discover Card without opening up the Samsung Pay application. You can open Simple Pay from the Home screen, Apps menu, or lock screen, by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (even if the display is dark or off). You can also choose which cards are displayed in Simple Pay.
You can use these Discover cards with Samsung Pay:
Samsung Pay can be used almost anywhere you can use a credit card to make purchases, or wherever contactless payments are accepted. Plastic cards may need to be used where contactless payments are not accepted (e.g gas station pumps). For more information on where you can pay with Samsung Pay, visit Samsung.com/Samsungpay.
Samsung Pay is available with the Galaxy S6, S6 active, S6 edge, S6 edge+ and Note5 through an app update. The availability will vary by mobile network operator. The app is not available for download on unsupported devices.
You will continue to earn eligible Cashback Bonus or Miles on every purchase using your Discover card with Samsung Pay. To view your individual card benefits, simply log into your Discover account or the Discover Mobile App.

There is no cost to you for using your Discover card in Samsung Pay. However, your Discover card’s terms and conditions will apply to purchases. Also, additional message and data charges may apply depending on your wireless plan.
For in-store purchases you will see a confirmation screen in addition to a transaction notification on your device. You can always view your Samsung Pay transactions in the Samsung Pay app.

You are never responsible for unauthorized purchases on your Discover card.
Your digital card number is connected to your new Card number automatically. You can use your card in Samsung Pay before receiving your new physical card to make purchases, should your card info change or you receive a replacement.
If you believe your phone has been lost, stolen or compromised in any way, call Discover at 1-800-347-2683.
You can also go to Samsung's "Find My Mobile" to help you find, lock and erase your phone.
If you freeze your credit card account you will be unable to use your card, including within Samsung Pay, until you unfreeze your account. When you freeze your account, Discover will not authorize new purchases, cash advances or balance transfers. However, some activity will continue, including bills that merchants mark as recurring, as well as returns, credits, dispute adjustments, delayed authorizations (such as some transit purchases), payments, Discover protection product fees, other account fees, rewards redemptions and certain other exempted transactions.
After you report your card as lost/stolen, it will be unavailable in Samsung Pay for 24 to 48 hours while a new account number is created and updated in Samsung Pay. No further action is required on your part to continue to use your card in Samsung Pay.
Yes – many transit operators welcome Samsung Pay with Discover for payments. Check the website for the transit operator in your area for more information.
